Forward Wojtek Wolski is departing Kunlun Red Star and returning to Metallurg Magnitogorsk, the team with whom he won the Gagarin Cup in 2016. The 31-year-old, currently appearing for Team Canada in the Channel One Cup, spent 8 seasons in the NHL, turning out for the Capitals, Panthers, Rangers, Coyotes and Avalanche, amassing 284 (107+177) points in 480 appearances. The move is part of an exchange which sees American defenseman Nick Schaus, 31, leave Metallurg for Kunlun.

Ugra has paid financial compensation to Avtomobilist for 27-year-old defenseman Yegor Zhuravlyov.

Forward Ignat Zemchenko is now at his third cub of the 2017-18 Championship. After spells with Sibir and Severstal, the 25-year-old has agreed a two-way contract with Neftekhimik which runs until the end of the season.

Earlier in the week, Slovenian international forward Rok Ticar also signed for his third team of the campaign. After playing for Torpedo and Avtomobilist, the 28-year-old has agreed a one-way contract with Sibir for the remainder of the season.
