As the action in final series switches to Moscow, the Gagarin Cup must also be in attendance. Following its travels in chauffeur-driven cars in trucks, and on long-distance trains, for Game 3 the trophy chose for its method of transport one of the architectural wonders of the world – the Moscow Metro. Accompanied by its guard of honor, the Cup set off from Petrovsky Park Station at 4:30pm and arrived at one of the new stops on the rapidly-expanding Metro, CSKA, a short distance from the Red-and-Blues' Ice Palace.
