In the 34th minute of the Saturday’s game in Magnitogorsk, after a goal scored by the home team’s forward Nikita Yazkov (#11), the Traktor head coach requested that the officials examine video footage of the goal for a possible offside. The video evidence shows that there was no offside, and thus a goal was awarded.
Then, in the 37th minute of the game, the referee requested a video review after Richard Gynge (#11) had apparently given the away team a 4-5 lead. After deliberations from the video goal judge, the goal was awarded as the video review showed that the puck did not leave the field of play earlier in the move.
In the 29th minute of the game in Podolsk, after a shot by Vityaz’s forward Alexei Makeyev (#91) directed to the visiting team’s net, the video goal judge referred to the video review to ascertain whether the puck fully crossed the line. The video showed that the puck fully crossed the goal line, and so the referee awarded a goal.
